Pinnacle Travel Staffing hosted its Pinnacle Island 2021 Golf Tourney benefit on Aug. 13 at the Beaver Island golf course on Grand Island. The golf outing was to fundraise money for the Neighbors Foundation of Grand Island and other local groups, we had 156 golfers that showed up to show their support. Additional Island benefactors from the event included the Grand Island Fire Company, Grand Island Police Department and Charles N. DeGlopper VFW Post 9249.
"Half of our proceeds were donated to the Neighbors Foundation of Grand Island. And the rest was divided up between the other organizations," said Pinnacle Travel rep Rick Schmitz.
"Pinnacle Travel Staffing is a family owned company with family values. Instead of giving money to a large corporation we would rather give back to the Grand Island Community. As an Island company we will always support boys in blue, our volunteers at the GIFC and all of the men and woman that served for our great country with the VFW Post. He added the event was sponsored by Pinnacle Travel Staffing along with corporate sponsorship by Fuccillo Automotive group, Laurendi Howard Hanna and Say Cheese Pizza. "This tournament was the most organized well ran golf tournament people have been too according to the participates that played in the tournament ,” Schmitz said. Pinnacle would like to extend a thank you to all who participated and are looking forward to next year event.
